Originally from Scotland and hailing from three generations of Cape winemakers, the Lothian vineyards are further cooled down by their unique location on a large body of water.  Due to its high altitude and cool winds from the Atlantic Ocean,  Elgin is one of the coolest wine regions in South Africa.

The nose is surprisingly intense. It has citrus blossom top notes underlain with a fruit cocktail of tinned apples, guavas and grapefruit. The taste is also unexpectedly rich for a Sauvignon blanc..very juicy notes of peaches and guava are present.
