Holmes Cay was created to seek out the world's best rums and release them unadulterated and at full strength. This bottling is sourced from two casks from the now defunct 10 Cane Distillery in Trinidad. The original lightly aged cane juice has developed into a mature and complex rum for sipping, bottled at the full barrel proof of 59% abv. The 100% fresh cane-juice rum was double distilled in pot still in 2012 in Trinidad, tropical aged in ex-cognac casks for 4 years, then spent 6 years in ex-bourbon in the UK  before being bottled in New York State. This is a never to be recreated rum!
