The Flood is an imaginative blend that showcases the current run of Auxerrois, which Joe is deservedly proud of, here blended with Gewurtztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Gris and a few other supporting characters.

Textural and aromatic this wine is love at first sight, with the golden coppery, cidery color and complex almost dichotomous aromas tantalizing the palate, which delivers with rich unfiltered texture coupled with citrus, exotic fruit and spice and waves of orchard fruit which linger into the surprisingly classic (think Alsatian) finish which has length, finesse and  leaves the palate like an old friend saying goodbye.
