Chateau Maris is a certified biodynamic estate in the Minervois AOC in Southern France (Languedoc-Roussillon). The team at Maris take sustainability extremely seriously, building their facility out of hemp composite bricks and ensuring the production of their wine is always carbon neutral. The Pays d’Oc Rouge is a blend of 70% Merlot and  30% Syrah that shows dark fruit and spice on a lighter, more drinkable frame. Winemaker Robert Eden describes it as his lunch wine, something that pairs well broadly and doesn’t sport too much alcohol or intense tannins.
