Dark and inky, almost unfathomably so in color, yet playful and exuberant, juicy and ultimately perfectly balanced in flavor. Felicette was the name of the actual first cat in Outer Space, sent by the French in 1963. She has recently been honored with a bronze statue in her hometown, Paris. 

Aromas of dark ripe red fruit and violets are matched in the full-bodied palate that's  juicy and bright inspite of its considerable heft. Finishes with silky tannins and spice. A great value for the price and a perfect bistro wine for pairing up with meat, poultry, charcuterie or for just whiling away an afternoon with friends while listening to some classic Bowie!
