Trimbach is still family-owned and produces less than 10,000 cases per year. They farm sustainably and responsibly and have carried on these traditions for generations. This is the current release of their classic Gewurtraminer, as they will literally "sell not wine before its time" sometimes releasing vintages out of order to ensure that the drinker's experience is classic and consistent. 

Gently poached pear and lychee mingle with heady aromas of nightflowers and ginger blossom as one quaffs this golden and glinting wine. A perfect wine for a cool night with someone special, even if that someone is yourself. 

Unctuous and yet beautifully balanced with bracing acidity and a whisper of steely minerality, this wine is great as an aperitif or an apres-ski but could be paired with any spicy cuisine, especially the distinctive flavors of Thai.
