Blend of 70% Grenache (50 year old vines), 20% Syrah (30 year old vines) and 10% Mourvèdre (30 year old vines). Fifth generation wine growers, Biodynamic and certified organic. Cherry red color with violet reflections. This Rhone Valley red is rich and complex, with aromas of red fruit, blackberry, coffee, and licorice. On the palate, it is supple, fresh and balanced. The finish is long with notes of cherry and hints of tight tannins. Delicious!

Splurge table wine

I had already had this wine at a NYC fish restaurant and knew that it was good.

Its more expensive than I would normally spend but I also knew that it was well worth it. It is medium bodied and dry and tastes fancy and delicious. I served it with roasted lamb and everyone loved it.

I now have three bottles for drinking on nicer occasions.
