Grown in Limestone, sandy clay and silt in the Vacqueyras is an inventive blend of 60% Syrah, 40% Merlot, parts Caladoc, Marselan, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre and Carignan. the Syrah is dominant and because of the highly detailed selection of grapes from tiny, low yield wines, this wears the terroir beautifully. The cuvee is aged in concrete vats, after a cold soak and bottled with zero sulfites.

It begins with intense inky plum color. The nose reveals a lovely bouquet of well-ripened red and black fruits along with a whiff of French countryside full of garrigue, floral notes and a little black dirt. Balanced, fresh, and intense on the palate, with light tannins on the finish.
