Nestled between the Jura and Savoie, lies a tiny jewel of an AOC called Bugey Cerdon where only one style of wine is produced - an off-dry sparkling Rose made exclusively in the ancestral method from Gamay and Poulsard. Gamay typically dominates, but Dentelle is comprised of 80% Poulsard from 100+ year old vines and 20% Gamay from 40+ year old vines. The result is a gorgeous, slightly sweet, copper-colored sparkling wine. Aromas of fresh, ripe red berries and rose petals are perfectly balanced with just enough acidity and a touch of minerality.
