I think it was my first purchase of rum knowing that it is made in Jamaica. And that’s why I was interested in it. It has a spicy flavor and it felt like smoked foods. I wonder if it is because of the barrels. It doesn’t have sweetness like other major brand rum. I personally think it is enjoyable as neat to spend slow times with it, watching streaming video show or so. And it’s not good to use it as a cocktail base.
