Beautiful example of Cali Sauvignon Blanc blended with Gruner and Chard and given extended skin contact.  Lightly tropical aromatics: underripe mango, pear and orange blossom dance a seductive tango with musky, earthy notes.  Stone fruits and orange citrus in the glass with nice minerality and a rounder mouthfeel. 

Winemaker Mike Roth of Lo-Fi fame brings biodynamic practices to certified organic vineyards in Santa Barbara County. He focuses on minimized yields, wild fermentation, and gentle handling to create complex aromas, textural intrigue, depth of fruit, and a true sense of place.

Coquelicot is the French name of the striking red poppy flower that’s abundant across the French countryside. The Estate is on 58 acres of vineyard, all on organically farmed,  is located in the Los Olivos District  - between Ballard Canyon and the boarder of Happy Canyon. Sustainable farming and gentle, meticulous winemaking techniques converge to produce hand made, very limited production wines. All vineyards are certified organic and the winery is CCOF Certified Organic.
