A stunning, complex 100% Barbera D'Alba that benefits from a little bit of time opening up. Immediately out of the bottle it's like a smoky red cherry bomb, but with time you get a soft earthiness and some notes of plum. Sumptuous, with a note of red fruits and, in the end, vanilla and liquorice. Elegant, balanced and with a sturdy structure. An excellent Barbera!
