From Vino Verdhe DOC, this Vino Verdhe tinto is a collaboration between Savio and biodynamic viticulturist Antonio Sousa. This is a blend of 70% of red varietals and 30% white varietals (25% Vinhão, 20% Borraçal, 15% Bastardo, 25% Arinto and 15% Loureiro grapes). All the grapes are fermented separately with chestnut flowers and aged in steel tanks, then bottled unfiltered with just a touch of SO2. This wine has red flower aromas followed with low acidity, a vibrant zestiness and finishes with a smokey, spicy, velvety finish.
