"I am not a Panda Bear, but I am also in danger of exctinction" is the translation of a subtle inscription on the bottle, an allusion to Bodegas Gratias' careful stewardship of grape varietals in danger of extinction, including Bobal, the main grape of this co-planted and cofermented cuvee.

Rich and alluring, this grape opens with heady aromas that range from floral to a fleshy. On the sink-your-teeth-into-it palate, ripe red fruit balanced with leathery, sanguine components that lead harmoniously into the lengthy, smooth finish. 

A slight chill on this is amazing, but even at cellar temp this can match wits with red meats, charcuterie, poultry and heartier vegetarian fare. A four season red whose exceptional enjoyment matches the effort and thoughtfulness put into the bottle.
