Here at DRINK, we love Albariño, and the Albas make theirs with care. The Val do Salnes is considered the birthplace of the grape; the coasts and hills and soil create a special microclimate that’s perfect for it, and it’s home to some of the oldest vines in the world, up to 300 years.

The family focuses on the unique qualities of each micro-parcel, in an attempt to see what special flavors their land creates. This wine always makes us smile - it’s exactly the story we want people to think of when they imagine small winemakers. If we can’t vacation there together, we can at least drink like it.
